BLYP launch and more greatness..

the launch
took place without a hick up, if you exclude some speaker drama.. but no really it was everything i was hoping for.

we tried to make the launch as interesting as possible but i will admit it was mostly just speeches. the highlight was definitely the mini ceremony, when the trustees and secretariat gave over the suit jacket to the student who's business suit they sponsored.

the students looked and felt like a million bucks. i mean just look at these guys, lookin oh so grown. the whole evening was all about them.









more greatness
the students had their first workshop at the namibia stock exchange where they'll be playing the stock market game

right now i'm off to the second workshop with the students at the bank of namibia [namibia's reserve bank] on etiquette and networking

and drum roll.......

we are taking all 12 students on a retreat this weekend to a game lodge that one of the trustees of the foundation, marina lamprecht, is graciously hosting for free. we are talking game drive, dinners, fire side chats, treasure hunt and so on!
